What's New 2012: Two new fabulous concerts: Sunday, October 28 4:00 PM. QuinTango Cabaret Viva Buenos Aires! at the Carlyle Club, 411 John Carlyle Street, Alexandria VA 22314. 4:00 - Doors open; 4:30-5:30 - Tango lesson with Carina Losano; 6:00 - QuinTango cabaret show with guest artists actor/singer Chris Vasquez, Argentine Emmanuel Trifilio, tango dancers Tino & Susana. Dancing to DJ Mark Sakowski (Frank Sinatra, swing, salsa, tango - all your favorite dance music). Full dinner menu and full bar (-Club policy --$25 food/drink minimum except Bar Rail seating). Grants and Awards QuinTango has received a grant from the MidAtlantic Arts Foundation to support the group's touring activities in the states of MD, DE, NJ, NY, PA, WV, Virgin Islands and Washington DC, from July 2003 to August 2004. QuinTango has been awarded a Residency Partnership Grant by Chamber Music America. QuinTango will work with the Down East Folk Arts Society in the Outer Banks to preseent concerts and educational programming in Carteret and Craven Counties, NC, from 14 - 18 January 2004. QuinTango wows the critics at Piccolo Spoleto, May 2003. QuinTango -- winner of 2001, 2002, and 2003 WAMMIE Award for Best Chamber Ensemble and 2003 WAMMIE Award winner for best World Music Recording. 2nd CD - Secret Places.
